“Tour guide Ruth was excellent. However, the tour agenda overall was lousy - a 16 hour day and a total of only 3 hours in the ruins. 1 hour in magical Coba was completely insufficient- and we could’ve used more than 2 hours in Chichen Itza. This should have been made clear in the tour description. Was frustrated that we came all this way to see these wonders of the world and dedicated so much time in our vacation, yet we ended up spending most of our time on a bus or in a tourist trap being sold to (the cenote stop).”

“Took over 5 hours from pick-up to the first site, lots of time wasting! Too many extra cost that should have been in the initial cost, very deceiving. Bus had comfortable seats thank goodness, but the suspension you felt every bump. Couldn't hear guide over air-conditioning, which was freezing requested it be turned down several times. The first 3 sites were interesting but the Playa del Carmen we got there so late and it was just to get us to spend money.”

“We were charged double for tickets to Tulum once we got there. Our guide said it was not their fault and we had tot take it up with “the company”. He was not helpful and gave us the ultimatum to either go back to the bus (after having traveled hours) and wait or pay for the ticket and tax (after having paid the tax before getting on the bus). The line to get our ticket was over an hour and we ran through Tulum in a few minutes with no time to look around. The food was barely edible and they try coerce “a lucky 4 people” into buying extremely…”

“I put 3 stars because I’m not completely satisfied with the travel agency . Transalamex . This trip is not so organized. First they took us to a souvenir store for the meeting place. We waited 30-45 mins there before heading to Tulum . Second they took us to our lunch place waited an hour to get lunch while again looking at souvenirs. BTW we got lunch around 2PM!! Third at the end of the tour . Guesse where they took us again another souvenir store. We spent more time at souvenir stores than what we want to see and signed up for. Transalamex if you want to improve your…”

“Ugh! It started 2 hrs later than described-9 am vs 7 am-which meant for a 12 hr tour it wasn't over until 10pm ish. Lunch was at 4 pm! My husband and I missed connecting at the bus at Tulum. Knew where and when we were supposed to meet up but couldn't find the bus parking lot despite asking at least 10 workers where it was. Bus took off without us, had to pay $1500 pesos to take taxi from Tulum to tour next stop at Coba. Guide was knowledgeable but didn't seem very interested in his duties or clients. We are in our 70's/80's and have traveled all over…”
